The Return of the Gang that Couldn't Shoot Straight!

the-gang

It's an understatement to say that the 76ers performance last nite was disappointing. It was all that and more. They couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a bazooka. I thought we were done with the gang that couldn't shoot straight. It's one thing to say the Pacers defended well ... but they didn't. The Pacers sux. The Sixers missed shot after shot ... wide open shots ... bunnies.

They couldn't hold on to the ball either. Fumbling and bumbling through-out the game. It's not much of a surprise to see Sammy or Reggie having a problem holding on to the ball. But even Andre Miller got into the act.

I can't bring myself to peek at the box score on this one. Let's just chalk it up to bad karma. It was in the air. The arena was sparse for a Friday nite. Afterwards, we mixed with the Phantoms crowd from game at the Spectrum. They were equally silent after a lackluster loss to the Hershey Bears. We crossed the street to McFadden's just in time to watch the Flyers blow a 2 goal lead in the 3rd period. They lose to the Caps! Like I said ... there was something in the air.

"But look Rando ... the Phils won" ... great ... just what I wanted to hear. Another reason to hate baseball.
