Yes, that Suns game Saturday nite was really something. The Sixers went toe to toe with Steve Nash, Shaq & company and beat them at their own game. Dre Dala had a off the hook shooting nite and the Sixers ability to hold on for the win was an amazing sign of maturity. It was the kind of game many would expect them to fail. They have proved they are not about chasing ping pong balls and that they can be entertaining.
But they still need to be validated as a contender. Tonite is one of those opportunities for validation. They must beat a lesser team (the Clipper are 19-39, L5) after the emotional win in Phoenix. Maybe someone will notice them if they go 2-1 on this road trip .... well maybe not.
