The Sixers cut Lamont Barnes today. So the Temple fatefull have lost one more player from the Coach Cheney club on the Sixers. It not a suprise to anyone. I watched the game earlier this week against the nets. He was the only player with the dreaded "DNP coaches decision" label until overtime, when Dalebert fouled out. I like to see Temple guys make it, but Philly has has too many guys that are tall, but not "really" tall and hustle is thier best asset.
But I like what I saw from Willie Green ... 3 pointer at the buzzer to send it into over time!. Nose for the ball ... plays hard inspite of a bad shooting nite ... Aggressive on offense ... Best draft pick I have seen here in a while! ... I like Korver also, I think he can really shoot ... needs to learn spacing so he can get the pass , get the shot off, and draw defenders to him to create opportunities for his teammates. Somethin that Philly has not had for years, but everyone else seems to have ... go figure!
